InflowControl was established in Porsgrunn in 2011 and is a world leading technology company in the domain of inflow control technology. With our award-winning and patented inflow technology, the Autonomous Inflow Control Valve (AICV®), and various reservoir management technologies, our vision is to change the oil industry to become more sustainable and cost efficient. We have our headquarters in Porsgrunn, along with R&D, engineering, lab, and manufacturing departments, as well as an additional eight offices across five continents. The company currently has 50 employees, and we anticipate growth in the years ahead.

InflowControl is seeking a  Senior Mechanical Engineer with a commercial mindset to join our innovative R&D team.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a central role in the development of our technology and solutions, helping to shape the future of our company. With us, you will have the opportunity to :

• Oversee and execute the development of new products from concept to final solution
• Drive technological innovation within our existing technology portfolio by identifying and implementing improvements in design and development processes to increase efficiency and quality
• Focus on developing and optimizing mechanical components and systems to ensure their high performance and reliability
• Conduct simulations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the design's performance and robustness under various conditions
• Develop and monitor test protocols to ensure that products meet the company’s quality requirements and safety standards
• Work closely with other departments and external partners to meet requirements and specifications
• Prepare technical specifications and report on project status and results
