Job Description

As a  Strategic Analytics & Insights (SAI) Business Partner  at NielsenIQ, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by expanding our portfolio of analytics and research solutions to clients across the Nordic region with focus on Norway. This role requires a proactive, client-focused professional who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships both with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver impactful solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts, contribute to RFP responses and proposal development.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead client meetings, deliver compelling pitches, and present insights that showcase the value of our analytics solutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. Understand their needs, challenges, and business goals and recommend the most relevant solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of NielsenIQ’s SA&I offering and effectively position them against competitor solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, forecasting, and sales performance and manage an active sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing deals.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Create cross and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • High client retention and satisfaction scores, both internal and external
  • Qualifications

  • Min of 5 years of experience in market research, agency or client side or within FMCG and Tech and Durables working with shopper insights, data and analytics, category management, revenue growth management or as a key account manager.
  • It is key to have experience within research and to be knowledgeable about different research methods and how they can help answer different types of questions.
  • An advantage to have a background within consumer and shopper research or within the branding, media or innovation area
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable client recommendations.
  • Strong communicator, with min of 2 years of experience presenting results to and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and to navigate complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Are you a person with a solution selling mindset, self driven and curios as well as a trusted advisor and partner that thrives to make things happen and see results you are the one we are looking for.
  • Fluent in Norwegian or other Scandinavian language and English
