Senior BI Data Engineer (m / f / d) in a cloud-native stack

Join our team in the Social Security business area in a full-time position working from home or in Herten in the heart of the Ruhr area - and get ahead with the market leader for municipal IT solutions!

This will be your job...

You will develop modern BI solutions in an agile SCRUM team and actively shape the software architecture
You work with state-of-the-art tools such as Apache Superset, cube.js, Kubernetes, Docker and Quarkus
You are responsible for the architecture of microservices and work closely with the other software architects
You support your team hands-on, provide guidance and mentor less experienced colleagues
You develop microservices to supplement the existing data landscape and model data for a self-service BI application
You create data visualizations in Apache Superset that offer our customers real added value
You work according to the test-first approach and coordinate closely with the DevOps experts

This is what we want...

You have a degree with an IT focus or comparable training - the decisive factor is your passion for BI and microservices

You develop software with Java or Kotlin and have at least 3 years of experience in data engineering in a microservices environment

You are enthusiastic about learning and open to new technologies and methods

You have an agile mindset and are actively involved in change processes

You think outside the box and want to help our customers turn data into knowledge
