IMES GmbH, based in Kaufbeuren, Germany, has been dedicated to the control of combustion engines using combustion chamber pressure signals and dynamic compression pressure measurement in compressors since 1996. We offer our customers system solutions ranging from sensors, hardware and software to the control of their large engines. Our measurement technology not only allows engines to be analyzed for wear, but also enables intelligent control to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of CO2 and NOX. Sensors, hardware and software are developed and produced in Kaufbeuren.

Software developer (m / f / d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced software developer (m / f / d) as soon as possible

Your tasks :

If you would like to join this exciting and promising industry and support our development team in the long term, we can offer you the following range of tasks :

Software development for data acquisition devices and cylinder pressure measurement technology
Software development for production test equipment
Software testing during development
Creation of the software requirements specification and software design
Creation of the visualization software in C / C++ and C#
Implementation of the control unit software in the C programming language
Carrying out software and integration tests
Technical coordination on software development issues with the customer

Your skills :

You are the perfect development engineer if you have the following :

Completed engineering degree (FH / TH) or technician training

Good knowledge of measurement technology and electrical engineering

Expert knowledge of the C / C++ programming language

Advanced knowledge in the field of embedded systems

Knowledge of embedded programming for ARM Cortex

Network knowledge

Good written and spoken English skills

Structured, analytical approach, initiative, creativity

Strong implementation and communication skills

Confident demeanor, good team player, social skills
