Consultant OT Security

Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven OT Security Consultant with a strong interest in securing operational technology (OT) environments. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and maintaining robust security measures for critical OT systems across a variety of sectors. You will contribute your expertise to hands-on tasks as well as strategic initiatives related to OT security architecture, monitoring, and risk mitigation.

You will be working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality advisory services, ensure alignment with industry standards, and support the development of tailored OT security solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your specialization in a field that is becoming increasingly vital to national infrastructure and societal resilience.

Key responsibility :

Lead and execute risk and maturity assessments for OT environments based on established frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Identify vulnerabilities in OT environments and drive the implementation of effective mitigation strategies.

Take ownership of security-related tasks, including design, configuration, and deployment of technical controls in complex OT infrastructures.

Design and implement OT-specific security measures and detections within the Security Operations Center (SOC) in close collaboration with monitoring teams.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and high-quality reporting to support clients' compliance and security objectives.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal methodologies, tools, and processes related to OT security.

We believe you have the following qualifications and personality skills :

Relevant higher education in automation, process engineering, industrial IT, or a related technical field.

Experience with operational technology environments such as SCADA, ICS, DCS, PLC, including architecture, integration, and lifecycle management.

Strong understanding of  security in industrial infrastructure  and its role in protecting critical national systems.

Proven experience with IT / OT convergence, including challenges related to network segmentation, asset management, and legacy system security.

In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIS Directive, or NIST CSF; experience applying these in real-world projects is a strong advantage.
