We're looking for a motivated and technically sound Project Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering protection and automation systems for substations across the utility, industrial, and transportation sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both national and international projects, blending field engineering with advanced system design.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute engineering tasks for substation automation and control projects
Develop functional specifications, documentation, and technical drawings
Configure IEDs, RTUs, and communication protocols (IEC 61850, 60870-5-104 / 101)
Support FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities alongside senior engineers
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and field teams to ensure timely delivery
Conduct internal and external technical clarifications
Ideal Profile :
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
2–5 years’ experience in protection systems, substation automation, or SCADA / RTU
Familiarity with communication protocols and tools (e.g., MicroSCADA, RTU500)
Experience with drawing tools and design documentation (E3, AutoCAD, etc.)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English; Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage
