NTNU) is looking to hire a lab manager (100%) for a temporary position. The timeframe for the position is from 01.10.2025 – 31.03.2027.
Your immediate leader will be the head of the department.
Duties of the position
- managing the laboratory operations (including oversight of equipment maintenance and research supplies, and participant scheduling)
- providing technical support for students and faculty involved in the ERC grant research
- providing outreach support for the LALP lab, including promotion and knowledge sharing of ongoing research and studies in the lab
- recruiting and training undergraduate research assistants
- assisting the Corresponding PI in SHAPE in coordinating grant-wide activities and deliverables
Required selection criteria
master’s degree in psychology, developmental science or cognitive scienceprevious experience with advanced experimental methods, such as eye-tracking, EEG, fNIRStraining and experience with at least one technical research method for gathering or analyzing data (e.g., eye tracking, EEG / ERP, acoustic analysis in Praat)good written and oral English language skillsPreferred selection criteria
previous relevant work experience will weigh positivelyknowledge of statisticsgood written and oral Norwegian language skills will weigh positivelyPersonal characteristics
