JobbeskrivelseMSc in a relevant subject or BSc with experience Minimum 5 years of experience in business and relationship management Experience in and knowledge of global commodity markets Experience in contracting, a commercial approach and solid negotiation skills Commercial mindset, analytical, self-motivated, result-oriented and with ability to work under pressure Strong team player with the ability to build relations with colleagues and key stakeholders Fluent in English (written & spoken), additional languages are an asset Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Ability to establish and maintain relationships Cultural awareness
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Yara's global sourcing strategy for the relevant product categories
- Optimize the supply of raw materials to the production plants taking into consideration time, logistical and operational / technical constraints
- Involved in the day-to-day execution of the deliveries
- Negotiate the purchase of products for Yara plants and markets, both on long-term and spot basis
- Initiate, draft and negotiate purchase contracts in collaboration with the team and with support of the legal department
- Maintain and develop relations with external suppliers and internal customers / stake holders
- Take responsibility for and issue reports on performance indicators, price benchmarks, etc.
- Study market intelligence to optimize sourcing
- Plan and execute the day to day operations; vessel nominations, volume / laycan changes, alternative supply, plant flexibility, modes of transport and delivery terms
- Maintain and report monthly savings
- Attend relevant conferences and meetings to maintain and build supplier relations
- Qualify product and / or suppliers to be used in the plants and markets
