Job Purpose

Manage and motivate the team of software engineers, guiding their activities, assessing technological knowledge, guiding the improvement of competencies and allocating adequate resources according to planned and unplanned demand, while executing in line with the company's vision, values and strategic objectives to achieve goals and ensure value chain flows. Align consistency in Project Configuration Engineering solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle within the agile development team in a particularly challenging project execution environment and continuous improvement mindset, following TechnipFMC's standards, procedures and processes, deadlines and budget, with a critical focus on quality, customer requirements and International Standards.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities :

  • Provide the highest level of expertise in technical-technological solutions, in order to apply the standards defined by the teams responsible for the Product, for project deliveries, while continuously seeking simplification, standardization and industrialization of products and processes.
  • Identify and analyze risks associated with project deliverables from project inception to commissioning.
  • Represent the Project Delivery Team in engineering planning and demand versus capacity assessment through updating and maintaining Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP)
  • Contribute effectively to customer relationships through presentations, meetings, interfaces, etc.
  • Support knowledge development within the discipline by providing guidance, training and mentorship for engineers and QA.
  • Ensure that project documents meet general quality requirements, codes, and standards, while being delivered according to the project schedule.
  • Coordinate, prioritize, adjust, and direct the efforts of team resources to meet project needs.
  • Ensure that the results of the project configuration teams are in compliance with the contract requirements (including budget), the project QHSE plan, and TechnipFMC's processes and standards.
  • Manage the team, ensuring that all agile ceremonies are conducted, and effectively capturing and tracking work in Jira.
  • Ensure that team members obtain and maintain certifications necessary to support offshore activities.
  • Collaborate with the Project Configuration Engineering teams both locally and globally to align best practices and provide assistance when needed.
  • Ensure the capture of lessons learned in the execution of projects and feedback to the teams responsible for technical proposals for continuous improvement in future opportunities.
