Faculty position in Finance

Overview

The Department of Finance at BI Norwegian Business School is seeking applicants for full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at all levels : Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.

About the School

BI Norwegian Business School is a private institution with attractive teaching loads and competitive salaries. The school offers courses at the undergraduate, MSc, MBA, and Executive levels and has a doctoral program in Finance. BI has currently more than 20,000 students enrolled in all of its programs.

About the Department of Finance

The department has a strong emphasis on research and its faculty members regularly publish in leading journals. The topics span all major fields of Finance, including asset pricing, corporate finance, household finance, macro-finance, and market microstructure.

Job Qualifications

Applicants should have or be close to completing a Ph.D. in Finance or Economics with a Finance emphasis. We are seeking candidates who will produce high quality research in finance. Applicants for associate or full professor must have a strong record of scholarly publications. Employment begins in August 2026.
