Expro  are currently recruiting for a Workshop / Maintenance Foreman to join the Well Testing & Commissioning team based in Stavanger.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Work under general supervision with responsibility for the direction and controlling of a team working within a Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnoses and repairs to a range of equipment. Undertake the preparation of equipment to Company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Direct and undertake the preventative and predictive maintenance and also the diagnosis and repair of equipment in line with work plans up to the required Company quality and certification standards
  • Continuously plan the tasks to ensure any problems areas, requirement for parts etc are highlighted, actioned and resolved in a timely manner
  • Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics and stores to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved to ensure timely completion of tasks in line with operational requirements
  • Take the lead in load outs and ensure all documentation is correctly completed for full compliance
  • Carry out and participate in tool box talks and planning meetings when required
  • Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines
  • Where necessary, undertake required inspections of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company’ policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that all documentation is the correct revision
  • Ensure that Stop Work Authority is reinforced with all maintenance staff. Ensure that the maintenance status board is accurate
  • Carry out daily housekeeping of work place and tools to ensure a clean working environment
  • Undertake direction, basic job training and supervision on tasks for technicians when required
  • Liaise with Supervisor, team members and operations personnel as and when required to ensure all aspects of the schedule of work are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure effective communication to achieve safe completion of maintaining and the repairing of equipment for task completion

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Technical Qualification
  • Extensive previous work experience preferably in the related product line
  • Previous team leader experience would be an advantage
